For over 27 years, I’ve been practicing as a qualified Aromatherapist and sharing my passions for natural-based remedies and therapies with others. It’s this passion that lead me to open The Aromatic Pharmacy.

The Story

Julie’s Background: After University and while working as Research Director for an Environmental Company harvesting seed from sites of special scientific interest, wildflower meadows, I gained a deeper understanding of the wonderful and amazing medicinal properties of wildflowers. Working alongside some of the finest Chemists in the world of Aromatherapy I developed an interest in distillation and extraction methods producing Essential Oils and discovered the many medicinal properties of plants that could help reduce pain, inflammation, aches and stress. I went on to qualify as an Aromatherapist through the Tisserand Institute in 1995 and have been developing my practice and interest ever since. Fast forward 28 years. To complement my treatment practice I’m now pleased to be offering my signature range of Aromatherapy products, skincare, haircare and body care. Our products are handmade, plant based and made with careful attention to ingredients that are skin nourishing pure and kind to the environment, We use only responsibly sourced 100% pure essential oils in our products giving a natural long lasting fragrance. Our Aromatherapy treatments are individually blended, no pre blends because everyone is unique.
